I love small breasts.  Girls, if you have perfectly nice small breasts, don't get augmentation.  If you don't love your little boobies then don't cut & stuff them, get a better boyfriend who knows how to lavish attention on them.

That's just like a MAN to think that the reason all women get boob jobs is for MEN. Think again!

Woman's body = woman's choice

To gentleman

This issue has absolutely NOTHING to do with mens opinions. I spent years obsessing over the size of my boobs, from the age of 15 i was barely a 34 a. It destroyed my confidence which in turn destroyed any relationships i had. I was convinced that any boyfriend i had was looking at women with bigger boobs than mine either on tv, in magazines or in real life.

I had other issues too and had been given all the necessary therapy for these but nothing could help me get over this particular issue. My therapist and GP both suggested surgery but I wanted to be happy in my own skin without having to resort to this extreme measure. I actually met a man who genuinely liked my small boobs and accepted me just as i was. Although this increased my overall confidence hugely, i still wasn't happy with my chest size and so, after 12 years of insecurity and obsessive thoughts, i got an enlargement.

My decision to have the op caused my partner and i to split up but i don't regret having it done. The point of me writing this is to prove that it doesn't matter what men think, they can give you all the rea55urance in the world but it's how YOU feel about yourself that matters. My surgery was worth every penny as it improved my quality of life more than i could ever explain. It's amazing to think what 2 little bags of silicone can do for your self-esteem and a55uming that people considering this surgery are of sound mind and have thought it through, i would say go for it. It's the best decision i've ever made.

I think all that gentleman was saying is that contrary to popular belief, not all men are into Pamela Anderson-sized boobs. And he was simply stating his own opinion on breast size. He's allowed to have an opinion, isn't he? You two above me are such prudes! Women talk about men's looks all the time. Chill out.

I have nice, natural smaller breasts (34B) and I love them. Anon 2, your therapist suggested you get implants? Not much of a therapist if he/she couldn't convince you to be happy and appreciate yourself the way you were. Personally, I find the concept of having foreign material surgically inserted into my body a little creepy. And give me a break; no matter what any woman who wants larger breasts would like to have the world believe, she gets them to feel sexier and more feminine. And why do most of these women want to feel sexy? Hmmm...now that ain't rocket science.

By the way, you're a hypocrite. You clearly state that you grew up feeling inferior around males because of your small boobs so ultimately you had them inflated, though 100% for yourself. Uh-huh, right. Men obviously had an influence on your decision to get implants so don't even try to suggest they didn't.

thought i agree getting breast augmen. isn't neccesrily for men. let's face it, if men loved small boobies, they'd be portrayed in the media as better, and you wouldn't want big boobies anymore.
